Select 30 National Training Camp FAQ’s:

 What is the Select 30 National Training Camp? This event is designed to provide elite athletes with a four-day experience focused on player performance, development, evaluation, and identification. Athletes will train with professionals, learn about topics off the field that will help prepare them for the next level, and perform on the field against other top players in their respective grad classes. This program is geared towards providing valuable data that can be used to further an athlete’s development and training.


How is the Select 30 event different than USSSA All American Program? Select 30 National Training Camp is sanctioned under the USA Elite Select brand, a division of USSSA. This program is geared towards the elite level athlete who is focused on developing her skills on and off the field to play at the highest level possible. The ages start at 12 and go up to 18 year old seniors in high school. This program is development based and athletes are given the platform to showcase their individual skills.

Game specific Information: 

  • With this being an elite level event, all games will be played based college recruiting/High School level requirements.  All pitching will be done at 43ft.


What ages are eligible for the Select 30 National Training Camp? Select 30 events are measured by the athlete’s high school graduation year. If an athlete graduates high school in the year of  2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026 and 2027 then she is eligible for the event.


How do I get invited to the Select 30 National Training Camp?

  • Direct Invites from the 2018, 2019, and 2020 All American Tryouts who are age eligible (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026, 2026 and 2027 classes)
  • Select 30 All Americans from 2017, 2018, and 2019 who are age eligible (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026 and 2027 graduation classes)
  • Athletes nominated by coaches through our coach nomination process-Starting September 15th


What is included in the registration fee?

  • Athlete entry to the event and complex
  • Three days of professional coaching and training on and off the field
  • Every player will get to play in four games with umpires and scoring
  • Performance data — athletic assessments, physical measurements, sport specific measurements, and other data taken at the camp will be provided to athletes following the event.
  • Practice jerseys (given to participants at registration)
  • Swag bag
  • Visor


What do I need to bring to the Select 30 National Training Camp?

  • Molded cleats or turfs (metal cleats are NOT allowed on AstroTurf)
  • Black or white pants for each day
  • Black or white socks for each day
  • Equipment – bat, glove, catchers gear, etc.
  • Water bottle


Is housing provided for athletes? No. Athletes/families must book their hotels through our travel partner – Anthony Travel. Anthony Travel will assist families in finding quality and affordable 


Will food be provided at the Camp? No. Athletes will be given a lunch break.  Athletes can order food from our concession stand, can leave and grab something from a nearby restaurant, or can eat lunch in their cars. Outside food and beverage is not allowed to be brought in to the complex (COMPLEX POLICIES).


Can parents attend the event? Yes. Parents can purchase event admission that will give them access to view athlete testing, team training, and game play. Due to space, parents will not be allowed inside the Classroom Sessions. 


How will the players be divided during the event? Players will be split into their respective graduation class. Within their grad classes, players will be divided into teams depending on the total number of athletes in the age division, but will not exceed 15 players per team. These teams will be grouped together for training sessions and game play.


How will players be evaluated? Athletes will be evaluated using both scores from the on field evaluations on Saturday as well as coaches evaluations throughout the event.


Who will coach the athletes at the Select 30 National Training Camp? Athletes will be coached by current or former professional players, current or former college players, and/or non-Division I college coaches (this is due to NCAA DI recruiting rules).


Who will evaluate the athletes? Athletes will be evaluated by current or former professional players from the USSSA Pride and professional scouts who are current or former coaches and/or scouts. 


How will I receive the data from the event? Athletes will be provided with their objective data and measurements following the event. This will be digitally sent to the athletes will all of her scores.


How will All American Teams be announced? Based on the data collection throughout the event, training, and game play, coaches and scouts will determine the top 30 athletes in each graduation class. These 30 athletes will make up the Select 30 All American Team for their respective grad class.  These players will  play the final game on January 17th. 


If you are selected as a Select 30 All American are there other obligations/opportunities as part of the All American group? No, currently there are no additional obligations or costs associated with being named to the All American Team.


What is Battle of the Bats

The Battle of the Bats is designed for players to try out the newest bats at no cost to them.

  • Battle of the Bats will feature our top manufacturers – Easton, Rawlings, Demarini, Louisville Slugger, and Marucci
  • The Main Stadium will be set up to allow athletes the opportunity to swing all the newest bats and try them out before having to buy them.
  • Bat manufacturers will be on hand to answer any questions
  • Helmets must be worn when hitting off the machines!


Additional Space Coast Policies


All guests are required to purchase a ticket prior to entering USSSA Space Coast Complex. To purchase a ticket, click on the link below, or visit, click on the ticket drop down and select the ticket you would like to purchase. There will be no Box Office available at USSSA Space Coast Complex. QR Codes will be available at each entrance for guests who have not purchased a ticket prior to their game.



Wristbands will be distributed at the gate after your ticket is scanned each day. You will be required to wear the wristband on your wrist, until you have left the Complex for the day.

Outside Food and Beverage

Space Coast Complex does not allow any outside food or Beverages inside the complex. *UNIFORMED* Athletes are allowed (1) personal water jug up to 74 fl oz in size.  No other coolers will be permitted inside the complex.

PLEASE MAKE SURE TO PURCHASE YOUR ATHLETE A WATER  JUG THAT YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE HER NAME. We want to keep everyone safe and hydrated at the same time.


Lost and Found

Lost and Found is located at the Pro Shop near the Space Coast Stadium.



No metal cleats. Only molded cleats and athletic shoes are accepted. No gum or sunflower seeds are allowed at Space Coast Complex.



All guest are required to leave the complex until the lightning delay has cleared. The gates will be locked until the delay has been cleared by Complex Staff.

Restrooms will be available at Space Coast Stadium Concourse as well as the Clubhouse located near the Red Quad.



Tents are restricted to low traffic areas around the outfield fence. No tents are permitted in high traffic areas including behind home plate. In the Event of inclement weather, tents must be taken down for safety.
